Moffatt scores 23 points as Colgate beats Boston University 75-59

HAMILTON, N.Y. (AP) — Ryan Moffatt scored 23 points as Colgate beat Boston University 75-59 on Saturday.

Moffatt was 7 of 14 shooting, including 6 for 11 from 3-point range, and went 3 for 3 from the line for the Raiders (11-8, 5-1 Patriot League). Brady Cummins scored 11 points while going 4 of 6 (2 for 3 from 3-point range). Keegan Records finished 4 of 8 from the floor to finish with eight points, while adding six rebounds.

Ethan Okwuosa led the Terriers (7-12, 2-4) in scoring, finishing with 16 points. Nic Nobili added 12 points and six rebounds for Boston University. In addition, Miles Brewster had 10 points.

Cummins scored eight points in the first half and Colgate went into halftime trailing 33-28. Moffatt's 17-point second half helped Colgate close out the 16-point victory.

Colgate plays Monday against Lehigh at home, and Boston University hosts Army on Wednesday.
