Robertson, Portland defeat Santa Clara 80-75 in OT

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Tyler Robertson scored 32 points, seven in the overtime, as Portland took down Santa Clara 80-75 on Thursday night.

Robertson also had 10 rebounds for the Pilots (10-20, 4-11 West Coast Conference). Juan Sebastian Gorosito scored 15 points, going 5 of 12 from the floor, including 2 for 7 from 3-point range, and 3 for 6 from the line. Vukasin Masic was 3 of 5 shooting and 4 of 6 from the free throw line to finish with 11 points. The Pilots snapped a five-game losing streak.

The Broncos (18-12, 9-6) were led by Adama Bal, who posted 22 points. Santa Clara also got 17 points and six rebounds from Johnny O'Neil. Carlos Marshall Jr. also had 15 points.

Both teams play Saturday. Portland hosts Loyola Marymount and Santa Clara takes on San Francisco at home.
