Shumate leads Toledo against Ball State after 24-point showing

BOTTOM LINE: Toledo visits the Ball State Cardinals after JT Shumate scored 24 points in Toledo's 86-66 victory over the Eastern Michigan Eagles.

The Cardinals are 7-2 on their home court. Ball State is fourth in the MAC with 13.0 assists per game led by Luke Bumbalough averaging 3.1.
