St. Thomas hosts UMKC following Nesbitt's 26-point showing

BOTTOM LINE: UMKC plays the Saint Thomas Tommies after Marvin Nesbitt Jr. scored 26 points in UMKC's 91-82 victory against the Western Illinois Leathernecks.

The Tommies are 4-4 on their home court. St. Thomas averages 75.5 points while outscoring opponents by 1.3 points per game.

The Kangaroos are 8-4 in Summit play. UMKC is seventh in the Summit scoring 71.2 points per game and is shooting 46.1%.

The teams square off for the second time this season in Summit play. The Kangaroos won the last meeting 81-72 on Feb. 4. Evan Gilyard scored 23 points to help lead the Kangaroos to the victory.
