Thomas scores six of career-high 37 in OT to lead Northern Colorado over Montana 98-92

MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) — Saint Thomas scored six of his career-high 37 points in overtime to lead Northern Colorado over Montana 98-92 on Thursday night.

Thomas had 14 rebounds for his eighth double-double of the season, adding three blocks for the Bears (9-6, 2-0 Big Sky Conference). He hit a jumper with 36 seconds left that tied the game at 82 and forced OT. Jaron Rillie scored 18 points and added five rebounds, five assists, and three steals. Brock Wisne had 15 points and went 7 of 8 from the field.

Brandon Whitney led the way for the Grizzlies (10-6, 1-2) with 24 points. Montana also got 22 points, 10 rebounds and five assists from Dischon Thomas. Josh Vazquez also put up 16 points, eight rebounds and two steals.
