EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. (AP) — Shamar Wright had 29 points in SIU-Edwardsville's 92-67 victory over North Park on Thursday night.
Wright also contributed three steals for the Cougars (1-1). Damarco Minor scored 16 points while going 5 of 11 from the floor, including 1 for 3 from 3-point range, and 5 for 5 from the line, and added seven rebounds. Lamar Wright had 14 points and shot 5 of 6 from the field and 4 for 6 from the line.
Kolden Vanlandingham finished with 12 points for the Vikings. Phil Holmes added 12 points for North Park. TJ Gardner also had nine points and two steals.
