BOTTOM LINE: No. 8 Maryland hosts No. 4 USC after Kaylene Smikle scored 26 points in Maryland's 74-66 victory against the Iowa Hawkeyes.

The Terrapins are 8-0 on their home court. Maryland has a 10-0 record in games decided by 10 points or more.
