BOTTOM LINE: Louisiana Tech takes on the UTEP Miners after Cobe Williams scored 23 points in Louisiana Tech's 80-79 overtime loss to the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks.

The Miners are 6-0 on their home court. UTEP is 2-0 in one-possession games.

The Bulldogs are 2-3 in road games. Louisiana Tech is sixth in C-USA with 14.8 assists per game led by Williams averaging 4.2.

The Miners and Bulldogs meet Saturday for the first time in conference play this season.

TOP PERFORMERS: Tae Hardy is scoring 13.2 points per game and averaging 2.8 rebounds for the Miners. Mario McKinney Jr. is averaging 11.9 points and 4.4 rebounds while shooting 48.4% for UTEP.

Williams is averaging 17.9 points, 4.2 assists and 2.6 steals for the Bulldogs. Keaston Willis is averaging 12.0 points for Louisiana Tech.
