PGA Tour courses that held majors in the same year

SAN DIEGO (AP) — Here are the courses that held a PGA Tour event and a major championship in the same year. Only two rounds were played at Pebble Beach and three rounds on the South Course at Torrey Pines for PGA Tour events:

TORREY PINES GOLF COURSE

2021 Farmers Insurance Open: Patrick Reed (274) won by five shots over Tony Finau, Viktor Hovland, Henrik Norlander, Ryan Palmer and Xander Schauffele.

2021 U.S. Open: June 17-20.

PEBBLE BEACH GOLF LINKS

2019 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am: Phil Mickelson (268) won by three shots over Paul Casey.

2019 U.S. Open: Gary Woodland (271) won by three shots over Brooks Koepka. Phil Mickelson (288) tied for 52nd.

2010 AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am: Dustin Johnson (272) won by one shot over David Duval and J.B. Holmes.

2010 U.S. Open: Graeme McDowell (284) won by one shot over Gregory Havret. Dustin Johnson (289) tied for eighth.

TORREY PINES GOLF COURSE

2008 Buick Invitational: Tiger Woods (269) won by eight shots over Ryuji Imada.

2008 U.S. Open: Tiger Woods (283) won in a 19-hole playoff over Rocco Mediate.

PEBBLE BEACH GOLF LINKS

2000 AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am: Tiger Woods (273) won by two shots over Matt Gogel and Vijay Singh.

2000 U.S. Open: Tiger Woods (272) won by 15 shots over Ernie Els and Miguel Angel Jimenez.

RIVIERA COUNTRY CLUB

1995 Nissan Los Angeles Open: Corey Pavin (268) won by three shots over Jay Don Blake and Kenny Perry.

1995 PGA Championship: Steve Elkington (267) won in a sudden-death playoff over Colin Montgomerie. Corey Pavin missed the cut.

1992 AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am: Mark O’Meara (275) won in playoff over Jeff Sluman.

1992 U.S. Open: Tom Kite (285) won by two shots over Jeff Sluman. Mark O’Meara missed the cut.
