Minnesota takes on San Antonio, aims to break 6-game slide

BOTTOM LINE: Minnesota aims to stop its six-game losing streak when the Timberwolves take on San Antonio.

Minnesota finished 19-45 overall and went 8-24 at home in the 2019-20 season. The Timberwolves allowed opponents to score 117.5 points per game and shoot 47.7% from the field last season.

San Antonio went 32-39 overall and 20-23 in Western Conference action during the 2019-20 season. The Spurs averaged 114.1 points per game last season, 19 on free throws and 32.1 from deep.

The teams match up Saturday for the first time this season.
