Portland faces Phoenix, seeks 4th straight road win

BOTTOM LINE: Portland will try to keep its three-game road win streak alive when the Trail Blazers take on Phoenix.

Phoenix finished 7-6 overall and 39-13 in Western Conference action a season ago. The Suns averaged 107.6 points per game while shooting 49.7% from the field and 36.3% from deep last season.

Portland finished 27-55 overall and 11-41 in Western Conference play during the 2021-22 season. The Trail Blazers allowed opponents to score 115.1 points per game and shoot 47.9% from the field last season.

The teams meet for the third time this season. In the last meeting on Nov. 5 the Trail Blazers won 108-106 led by 30 points from Jerami Grant, while Devin Booker scored 25 points for the Suns.
