Philadelphia visits Boston after shutout victory

BOTTOM LINE: The Boston Bruins host Philadelphia after the Flyers shut out Buffalo 3-0. Brian Elliott earned the victory in the net for Philadelphia after recording 40 saves.

Boston finished 14-6-3 in division action and 22-4-9 at home during the 2019-20 season. The Bruins scored 227 total goals last season while collecting 384 assists.

Philadelphia went 41-21-7 overall and 16-4-4 in division action in the 2019-20 season. Goalies for the Flyers compiled a .903 save percentage while allowing 2.6 goals on 28.5 shots per game last season.
