BOTTOM LINE: The Vancouver Canucks visit Buffalo after the Sabres defeated Arizona 2-1 in a shootout.

Buffalo went 15-34-7 overall with an 8-16-4 record at home during the 2020-21 season. Goalies for the Sabres did not record a shutout last season while compiling an .896 save percentage.

Vancouver went 23-29-4 overall and 10-17-1 on the road in the 2020-21 season. The Canucks scored 148 total goals last season, 27 on power plays and six shorthanded.

The matchup Tuesday is the first meeting this season between the two teams.
