BOTTOM LINE: The Vegas Golden Knights host St. Louis after Klim Kostin scored two goals in the Blues' 7-4 win against the Coyotes.

Vegas finished 40-14-2 overall and 21-5-2 at home during the 2020-21 season. The Golden Knights scored 31 power play goals with a 17.8% success rate on power play opportunities last season.

St. Louis went 27-20-9 overall and 15-9-4 on the road a season ago. The Blues scored 167 total goals last season, 36 on power plays and six shorthanded.

The teams meet Wednesday for the first time this season.
