Stars face the Hurricanes, look for 5th straight victory

Dallas Stars (4-0-0, second in the Central Division) vs. Carolina Hurricanes (3-1-0, seventh in the Central Division)

BOTTOM LINE: Dallas will try to keep its four-game win streak intact when the Stars take on Carolina.

Carolina went 38-25-5 overall and 8-12-1 in division action in the 2019-20 season. The Hurricanes were called for 276 penalties last season averaging 4.1 penalties and 8.6 penalty minutes per game.

Dallas finished 12-9-3 in division play and 18-12-5 on the road in the 2019-20 season. The Stars scored 42 power play goals on 199 power play opportunities last season.

The matchup Saturday is the first meeting this season for the two teams.
