Vancouver travels to Montreal, looks to avoid 4th consecutive road loss

BOTTOM LINE: Vancouver travels to Montreal looking to avoid its fourth consecutive road loss.

The Impact put together a 12-17-5 record overall in the 2019 season while finishing 8-6-3 in home matches. Montreal scored 47 goals a season ago while allowing opponents to score 60.

The Whitecaps finished 8-16-10 overall a season ago while going 5-7-5 on the road. Vancouver averaged 1.1 goals on 3.9 shots on goal per game a season ago.

The matchup Tuesday is the first meeting of the season between the two teams.
