“The Mad Dragon” Ilja Dragunov returns to in-ring action after a brutal Last Man Standing Match against Dijak at NXT Battleground to take on the recently returned Baron Corbin. Last week, Corbin criticized the NXT locker room and called them soft which drew the ire of Dragunov. The Mad Dragon challenged Corbin to a match for later that night, but an attack by Bron Breakker left Dragunov down in a heap and unable to compete. Now, the two Superstars will face off with pride and potential NXT Championship implications on the line.
