Seven to address future after losing NXT UK Tag Team Championship
An incredible episode of NXT UK will see Trent Seven addressing his future in NXT UK, Wolfgang and Damon Kemp pairing up to tangle with Noam Dar and Sha Samuels and much more.
After he and Tyler Bate lost the NXT UK Tag Team Titles to Ashton Smith and Oliver Carter in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match that also included Symbiosis, Seven has taken the last two weeks to ponder his future in NXT UK.
The Don, who had been hinting that the end of his reign as NXT UK Tag Team Champion could also spell the conclusion of his in-ring career, didn’t handle the loss particularly well, as he shoved Bate after the title bout before storming away and proclaiming that he was done.
What will Seven have to say when he makes his return?
And after teaching Kemp the “Glaswegian way of training, fighting and drinking,” Wolfgang seems to think that he and his newfound comrade are ready for their first tag team bout against the often obnoxious tandem of Dar and Samuels.
With Joe Coffey momentarily stepping away from NXT UK and Mark Coffey competing in the singles ranks, Wolfgang is looking for a big win alongside the newest member of Diamond Mine, but it certainly won’t be easy.
The Scottish Supernova has enjoyed a lengthy run as NXT UK Heritage Cup Champion, while Samuels has remained a constant threat in singles competition and defeated Kemp one-on-one in April, setting the stage for a must-see tag bout.
Plus, after defeating Tate Mayfairs in his NXT UK debut match in April, the ominous Tiger Turan will go to battle with Josh Morrell. And Myla Grace will get a tough test in the form of Lash Legend, who recently made it to the semifinals of the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament.
