Ever-Rise def. Bollywood Boyz – Tornado Tag Team Match

Ever-Rise and The Bollywood Boyz have traded wins in the past few weeks as each makes their case for purple brand tag team supremacy. Chase Parker & Matt Martel came in loaded with confidence following solid showings on NXT against Young Grizzled Veterans and Imperium, while the Singh brothers needed something to turn around their momentum after two straight losses on 205 Live. The Bollywood Boyz dug into their bag of tricks in the Tornado Tag Team Match to make the most of the no disqualification rules. Parker seemed set up for a Bollywood ending left to his own devices in the ring, but Martel snapped into action just in time with a double clothesline. A superplex by Samir followed by an elbow drop Sunil nearly finished off Parker, but another breakup by Martel kept Ever-Rise alive. After a brutal back-and-forth, Ever-Rise crashed Samir into the exposed turnbuckle to enjoy the sweet taste of victory.

Jake Atlas def. Tony Nese

After a grueling defeat on NXT, Tony Nese was out for payback against Jake Atlas on his home turf. A Cactus Clothesline from Nese sent Atlas flying over the ropes and only a last second dive into the ring saved Atlas from a count-out. The two top purple brand competitors pushed each other to the limits throughout, but it was the emergence of Ariya Daivari that pushed the match into overdrive. With the referee distracted, Daivari tossed Atlas into the ring post to give and tossed him back into the ring for The Premier Athlete. Nese was more than willing to pick up the scraps and a shattering 450 seemed to put Atlas but a foot on the rope stopped the count. Despite the scales being tipped, Atlast pulled off an impressive cartwheel DDT and hooked the leg to score another triumph over the imposing Nese.
