Sarray def. Lash Legend
After making her WWE debut with an eye-opening win over Amari Miller one week ago on 205 Live, Lash Legend bounded to the ring with the arrogance of a Superstar who clearly thought that improving to 2-0 was a foregone conclusion.
Sarray had other ideas.
Though The Warrior of the Sun was competing in her first match in more than a month, she nevertheless withstood Legend’s barrage (and trash talking) and stunned her opponent in the match’s final seconds. Legend rolled up Sarray with a handful of tights, but Sarray reversed and grabbed Legend’s tights for the 1-2-3!
After the match, Legend blasted Sarray with a kick to the jaw and planted her into the canvas with what Nigel McGuinness called “a legendary finishing maneuver” and took to the microphone to tell Sarray to “remember the night that I Lashed out on you.”
Valentina Feroz & Yulisa Leon def. Erica Yan & Fallon Henley
The WWE Universe perhaps received a glimpse into the future when a quartet of newcomers collided in a fiercely contested tag team bout.
Fallon Henley, who was making her WWE debut, entered the squared circle with the poise and swagger of a seasoned veteran, and she impressed by outmaneuvering Feroz and taking her down to the mat in the early goings – at least until Feroz rallied with top-rope arm drag and a hurricanrana that brought the WWE Universe to its feet.
Henley and Erica Yan isolated Feroz from Yulisa Leon for several minutes, but when Feroz finally tagged in her partner, Leon blitzed Yan with an unrelenting attack.
Seconds later, “The Latin American Connection” secured the win when Leon launched Feroz, who landed on top of Yan with a crossbody that earned the three-count. All four competitors shook hands after the bout.
Legado del Fantasma def. Malik Blade & Ru Feng
Competing on 205 Live for the first time since January, Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza looked right at home.
The battle-tested competitors tangled with a pair of promising rookies in Malik Blade and Ru Feng, who seemingly caught their opponents off guard, particularly when Feng started chucking Mendoza around the ring with relative ease and again when Blade received a tag and blasted Wilde with a spinning heel kick and a dropkick in rapid succession.
Wilde and Mendoza withstood the attack, however, and they secured the victory after obliterating Blade with their unique high-low tandem maneuver.
