Sarray def. Amari Miller

If her first venture to 205 Live was any indication, Sarray might want to stick around on the purple brand.

The Japanese sensation, who has clashed with the likes of Toxic Attraction on NXT 2.0, received another tough challenge from Amari Miller, who defeated Valentina Feroz last week and has turned heads since bursting onto the 205 Live scene.

“The In-Ring Thriller” seemed to be closing in on her second straight win when she clobbered Sarray with a spinning roundhouse kick, but Sarray kicked out in the nick of time and grounded Miller with a kick of her own. With Miller dazed and seated against the bottom rope, Sarray unloaded with a merciless dropkick to the jaw for the 1-2-3.

The Creed Brother def. Demetri Jackson & Andrew Lockhart

There are mismatches, and then there’s what we saw when The Creed Brothers took on local competitors Demetri Jackson and Andrew Lockhart.

Representing The Diamond Mine, Brutus and Julius steamrolled their opponents with ruthless efficiency while screaming “We want (NXT Tag Team Champions) MSK!” before finally concluding the uncomfortable beatdown with an impressive double-team maneuver.

After the bell, the rest of The Diamond Mine – NXT Cruiserweight Champion Roderick Strong, Ivy Nile, Malcom Bivens and Hachiman – entered the ring, and Bivens vowed “devastation, destruction, aggression and annihilation” for everyone who stands in the way of The Creed Brothers. Bivens then issued an open challenge on behalf of Brutus and Julius to the entire WWE roster.

Grayson Waller def. Trey Baxter

Grayson Waller seems to live by the classic “it’s not cocky if you back it up” mantra.

Bounding to the ring and initially engaging Trey Baxter with his hands behind his back, Waller landed the first big blow when he shook the ring with a side slam and later planted his opponent with a hanging suplex.

With chants of “fight forever” coming from the WWE Universe, Baxter earned a reprieve when he took down his foe with a modified tornado DDT, an enzuigiri and a frog splash in rapid succession, but Waller stole the victory by reversing a small package for the pinfall to secure a much-needed bounce-back win after coming up short in his bid to dethrone NXT Cruiserweight Champion Roderick Strong.

As for Baxter, it’s back to the drawing board, as the defeat extended his losing streak to three in a row.
