A wild edition of "The KO Show" opens an opportunity for Austin Theory to enter the NXT Title fray, Roxanne Perez battled Rhea Ripley and Cora Jade faced Raquel Rodriguez in Pick Your Poison showdowns, Shinsuke Nakamura surprised "Stacks" for an NXT return clash and more. WWE NXT results: Oct. 18, 2022 Rhea Ripley def. Roxanne Perez – Pick Your Poison Match The WWE Performance Center erupted with the emergence of The Judgment Day to open NXT, but Roxanne Perez proved she was ready to meet the moment. After Cora Jade selected Rhea Ripley to face her Halloween Havoc foe, the odds appeared stacked against Perez but the tenacious Superstar made a statement with a flying splash to take out her opponent outside the ring. Despite the gritty effort, a distraction from Dominik Mysterio teed up a Riptide to give the former NXT Women’s Champion the win. Shinsuke Nakamura def. Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo The Don Tony D’Angelo was out to set a lesson to Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo, and he had just the man to do it. The surprise entrance of Shinsuke Nakamra ignited the NXT Universe, and The King of Strong Style did not disappoint. “Stacks” fought like it was a scrum from back in the day on the docks, but innovative offense from Nakamura with a sliding German suplex, an armbar reversal, and a pair of Kinshasas sent “Stacks” to Dream Street. In the end, D’Angelo voiced his approval for “Stacks,” as his effort made the Alba Fyre def. Sonya Deville Sonya Deville put Alba Fyre on notice ahead of Halloween Havoc with her surprise attack last week that resulted in the NXT Superstar being sent through the announce table. Tonight, however, Fyre was ready for the antics of Toxic Attraction as she dodged a blindside from Gigi Dolin to secure the roll-up victory. Following the loss, Toxic Attraction sprang back into action and Mandy Rose returned for one last face-to-face before the NXT Women’s Title showdown. Carmelo Hayes & Trick Williams def. Wes Lee & Oro Mensah These four Superstars have been brawling for weeks and couldn’t wait for the opening bell to begin tearing each other apart. Once the match got underway, the new tandem of Wes Lee & Oro Mensah showed they could click early, but it was the experience of Carmelo Hayes & Trick Williams as a unit that proved the difference. In the final moments, the rivalry between Hayes and Lee hit a new level as unseen interference from Williams set up the Nothing but Net finish from the former A Champion. After the bell, Von Wagner and Nathan Frazer would join the chaos to set the stage for a sure to be incredible NXT North American Title Ladder Match at Halloween Havoc. Cameron Grimes & The O.C. def. Schism Cameron Grimes turned to the hottest tag team in the business for his battle with The Schism in NXT, as Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson were ready to travel “To The Moon!” Joe Gacy reveled in an attack on Anderson on the outside, as their darkness seemed destined to prevail but The O.C. and Grimes all crashed the ring to wipe out their advantage. Gallows brought a demolition derby to the NXT squared circle, as he left Jagger Reid & Rip Fowler sprawled out on the mat. Grimes’ dished out a Cave-In and then a thunderous kick to Gacy on the outside, before The O.C. brought him the perfect return on his investment with a Magic Killer victory. Quincy Elliott def. Xyon Quinn – joins Shotzi as co-host at Halloween Havoc Shotzi rolled in with her signature tank entrance and revealed she'd be a host for the iconic NXT Premium Live Event. Xyon Quinn would interrupt to offer up his services, Shotzi suggested that his match with Quincy determine her co-host. Quinn attempted to dig into his bag of tricks, but Hank Walker intervened and allowed Quincy to hit the Diva Drop and quench the thirst of the NXT Universe. Cora Jade def. Raquel Rodriguez by disqualification Cora Jade was forced to share the ring with Raquel Rodriguez after Roxanne Perez called on the former NXT Women’s Champion to travel over from SmackDown. With Rodriguez flexing her muscles early on, Jade resorted to a kendo stick to try and fend off her offensive but instead it was Rodriguez who snapped on the smug Superstar. With Jade proud of her mind games coming to fruition, Perez came charging into the ring to deliver an explosive Superkick that put Jade in her place ahead of Halloween Havoc.
