Ronda Rousey turned the tables on Charlotte Flair’s surprise attack during contract signing
After snapping at Drew Gulak, SmackDown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair gloated about beating Ronda Rousey at Wrestlemania 38. Rousey warned Flair about what was in store for her at WrestleMania Backlash before The Opportunity flipped the table onto Rousey to reveal a hidden Kendo Stick. After getting hit a few times, Rousey caught the weapon and snatched it out of Flair's hands to return the favor. Gulak intervened to take the Kendo Stick from Rousey and have her sign the match contract, but paid for his boldness as The Baddest Woman on the Planet put Gulak in an armbar, signing the contract on top of him as he screamed out "I Quit."
Xavier Woods def. Butch
Still angry after losing to Xavier Woods in his debut match, Butch rained down elbows onto Woods before fish hooking him and throwing Woods face first into a turnbuckle. Butch continued to manipulate Woods' joints following an X-Plex until Woods caught him by surprise by spring boarding off the ropes and rolling Butch up for a quick 1-2-3.
Furious after another loss, Butch stomped around the ring as Sheamus and Ridge Holland attempted to calm him down, but his mates did little to help as Butch angrily yelled at them and stormed off through the crowd.
Gunther def. Teddy Goodz
The Ring General sent another message to the SmackDown locker room with a punishing display against local competitor Teddy Goodz. Gunther pummeled Goodz, taking him off his feet with a big boot before delivering a flurry of ear-ringing chops and finally setting him up for a devastating powerbomb to earn his second straight victory on the blue brand.
Riddle def. Jey Uso
In another thrilling showdown, Riddle picked up a second straight victory against The Bloodline in as many weeks at the expense of Jey Uso. As Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns watched on form his locker room, Riddle rolled early thanks to a gut-wrench suplex, but Jey took it in stride knocking Riddle out with a swift right hand in the midst of a dive through the ropes. Jey kept his foot on the gas, tossing Riddle into the steel steps before staring down Randy Orton as he pulled a page out of The Viper's playbook and dropped Riddle onto the announce table.
After trading blows in the center of the ring, The Original Bro started to build momentum hitting The Floating Bro for a nearfall before delivering a DDT off the ropes. Riddle went for the RKO, but Jey countered with a stunning pop up neckbreaker for a two-count. Jey then climbed to the top rope for a splash, but Riddle got his knees up in time and rolled Jey up for the pinfall.
Natalya & Shayna Baszler interrupted Women’s Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks & Naomi
WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks & Naomi reveled in their current history making title reign, remarking on their victories over Carmella & Queen Zelina and Rhea Ripley & Liv Morgan until Natalya & Shayna Baszler walked out to point out they were forgetting another team who was in the ring at WrestleMania 38. A pair of former Women's Tag Team Champions in their own right, Natalya & Baszler promised Banks & Naomi were looking at the next champions.
Madcap Moss def. Angel
After declining Happy Corbin's pre-match offer to come back to his side, Madcap Moss squared off with Angel in the hopes of continuing his current hot streak. Moss taunted Angel after taking him off his feet with a shoulder tackle, tossing him over the ropes and onto his Los Lotharios partner Humberto. Despite being outnumbered, Moss tossed Angel across the ring before delivering The Punchline for a pinfall victory.
As Moss celebrated his victory, Corbin slid into the ring to deliver a surprise End of Days to his former partner, stealing his Andre the Giant Battle Royal Trophy as he exited the arena.
Lumberjack Match between Drew McIntyre and Sami Zayn ended in a no contest
With the help of The Usos ringside as lumberjacks, Sami Zayn once again slipped through Drew McIntyre's fingers. The Scottish Warrior got as many blows in as he could while Zayn attempted numerous times to escape, but was rolled back into the ring by the lumberjacks. As Zayn avoided another Claymore by rolling outside the ring, The Usos made their way around the ring to attack RK-Bro.
With the lumberjacks brawling outside the ring, Zayn looked to make his escape and after a few unsuccessful attempts The Master Strategist found an opening and scurried away into the stands until WWE Official Adam Pearce appeared with an announcement. Surprised that Zayn managed to run away again, Pearce decreed Zayn will once again face McIntyre next week inside a Steel Cage. While Zayn threw a fit, McIntyre smiled and countered a surprise attack by Jinder Mahal and Shanky to deliver a Claymore and a warning for Zayn's potential future.
Riddle looks for a second straight win over The Bloodline in one-on-one match with Jey Uso
As their Winner Take All Championship Unification Match for WrestleMania Backlash rapidly approaches, Riddle looks to put RK-Bro on his back and go for two-for-two against SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos in single competition.
The Original Bro already showed why he and his partner Randy Orton are Raw Tag Team Champions after hitting a stunning RKO out of nowhere during an attempted Samoan Drop to pin Jimmy Uso this past Friday. Riddle will look to keep RK-Bro’s momentum rolling when he goes one-on-one with Jey Uso.
Can Jimmy do what his brother could not and deliver a win to The Bloodline or will Riddle stand tall for the second straight week? Find out Friday night on SmackDown at 8/7 C on FOX.
Nowhere for Sami Zayn to run from Drew McIntyre in Lumberjack Match
There’s nowhere to run and nowhere to hide for Sami Zayn this week, as he’ll battle Drew McIntyre in a Lumberjack Match on SmackDown.
The Master Strategist has resorted to grand exits through the aisles of the arena in consecutive matchups against The Scottish Warrior. While many have viewed the tactics as acts of cowardice, Zayn has tried to frame them as a form of activism performed by a man of the people. With Superstars lining the outside of the ring for the third matchup, we’ll see if the rest of the blue brand locker room feels the same way.
Will the devious Superstar have something cooked up his sleeve or is a trip to Claymore Country in Zayn’s future?

Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey sign the contract for their “I Quit” Match

Madcap Moss looks to make Angel the butt of his jokes
The days of slapstick revelry with Happy Corbin may be over, but Madcap Moss is still delivering Punchlines on SmackDown.
The bruising Superstar barreled over Humberto in a one-on-one matchup last week that left Los Lotharios searching for answers. Now Angel will try his hand at slowing down the freight train of Superstar.
Will Madcap Moss keep the laugh track rolling with another victory?
