Reporting Issues

To report closed caption issues, please send an email to: ClosedCaptioning@fox.com 

Email is preferred, but if you must send a handwritten letter please mail to:

Please be sure to include:

  • Name of the Program and Network
  • Type of issue (e.g., garbling, captions cut off at certain times or on certain days, captions missing on certain episode of the programming)
  • FOX Website, application or cable, satellite or OTT provider where you viewed the programming
  • Approximate time and date that the issue occurred
  • Your name and contact information including zip code, mailing address, email and phone number

Enabling closed captions

In order to enable closed captions for FOX apps and websites, please see the instructions below:

Apple:

  1. From the Home screen of your Apple TV, select the Settings icon.
  2. Select General.
  3. Select Accessibility.
  4. Select Closed Captions + SDH, so it is set to On.
  5. Go back to FOX App and select an episode to watch.
  6. While the episode is playing, swipe down on your remote to see the Info menu.
  7. Go to Subtitles > English.
  8. Closed captions are now turned on.

Fire TV:

  1. While the episode is playing, press the Menu button on the Fire TV remote.
  2. Select Turn Subtitles On. The closed captions are now turned on.
  3. Press the Menu button again to return to the episode.

Roku:

  1. Press the * button on your Roku remote.
  2. Under Closed Captions, set it to On.
  3. Press the * button again to close that menu.
  4. Closed captions are now turned on.

Samsung TV:

  1. Turn on your TV and press Menu on your Samsung remote.
  2. Select Accessibility from the General menu.
  3. Select Caption Settings and select Caption to turn captions on.
  4. Select Caption Mode to adjust the caption language.
  5. Select Digital Caption Options to change font style, size, color, background color, and more.

iOS and Android:

  1. Select a video to play.
  2. Click the screen during playback.
  3. Click the CC button at the bottom right of the screen.

On the Web:

  1. Select a video to play.
  2. Click the screen during playback.
  3. Click the CC button at the bottom right of the screen.
