Impact Clowney logged more points Saturday than he did across any two of his games played during November. Ideally for the Crimson Tide, they hope that their newest recruit is acclimating to collegiate basketball more seamlessly. Clowney will receive much more opportunities that indicate how good a player he can be.

Darius Miles - Spotted in warmups Miles (foot) was spotted in warmups prior to Saturday's game against South Dakota State, Charlie Potter of 247Sports reports.

Impact Miles has played two just two games for Alabama this season, and while the fact that he was spotted in warmups is a positive sign, it doesn't say much about his availability. Even if he plays Saturday, he's not expected to have a big role off the bench for the Crimson Tide.

Dom Welch - Remains out Saturday Welch will not play in Saturday's game against South Dakota State as he continues to recover from a lingering calf issue, Mike Rodak of AL.com reports.

Impact Welch was previously tabbed as a game-time decision with a "long-healing" lower-body injury by Alabama coach Nate Oats, which appears to be some sort of calf issue, per Rodak. The St. Bonaventure transfer has yet to play this season, and his next opportunity to suit up will come against Houston on Saturday, Dec. 10. With Welch remaining out, Rylan Griffin should continue to see the bulk of playing time behind starting forward Brandon Miller.

Impact Clowney was forced out with a contusion to his lower body during the Crimson Tide's previous game against UNC, limiting him to just three minutes played in this contest. He was then considered a game-time decision for Saturday's game, though he'll ultimately be able to return at the earliest possible opportunity for Alabama.
