Impact Burnett was described earlier on the week as "no longer limited," and he showed that in the exhibition contest, finishing in traffic and even dunking the ball. The fact that he's basically full-go by late-July suggests any lingering effects from last year's season-ending knee injury shouldn't follow him into the early part of the 2022-23 campaign. Burnett is a transfer from Texas Tech who has just 12 collegiate games under his belt, but it's tough to deny the impact he's making already, and he should be a safe bet for a rotation spot -- if not a starting role -- under Nate Oats this season.
