Impact The D-1 council announced that all college transfers will be eligible to play in the 2020-21 season. That does not impact Kriisa, however, who is apparently dealing with a separate eligibility issue. There's not timetable for his return.

Matchup with Cal Baptist called off Akinjo and the Wildcats will no longer take the court Wednesday against California Baptist due to a positive COVID-19 case in the CBU program.
Impact Arizona already had to reschedule a Pac-12 game against Colorado earlier in the season, in addition to contests against UTEP and Northern Arizona. In the games that have been played, Akinjo has been a steady producer with 13.8 points and 3.8 assists.

Impact The junior guard got off to a rough start to the season with only 12 points on 5-for-18 shooting in the Wildcats' first two contests, but he was able to get hot early Monday and couldn't be slowed down thereafter. Considering Baker has shot 37.1 percent from the field and 35.2 percent from three-point range for his two-pus seasons in college, his huge outing against Northern Arizona is best viewed as a major outlier rather than a sign of things to come. Baker should at least continue to benefit from Arizona's soft non-conference schedule to begin the season, with home games against CSU Bakersfield, UTEP and California Baptist on tap before the Wildcats resume their Pac-12 schedule Dec. 19 versus Stanford.
