Just four days earlier, Traore came off the bench against South Carolina to produce his highest minutes (10) and points (eight) of SEC play. It's possible the decision was matchup-based, with Texas A&M typically playing more of a small-ball lineup, but Bruce Pearl never came out with such a declaration. In any case, the four-star freshman is looking more like a development project than someone who will make significant contributions to the Tigers this season.
