Ruled out Thursday Johnson (ankle) will not play Thursday against UMKC, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports. Impact Johnson suffered an ankle injury late in Tuesday's OT victory over Boston College, and it will effectively cost him at least one game. The Western Michigan transfer had started the last three games for the Gophers and was averaging 6.8 points and 5.2 rebounds on the year. Prior to Johnson joining the starting lineup, the Gophers had gone with Eric Curry as the starting power forward. In Tuesday's matchup, however, Curry logged just six minutes off the bench, while sophomore Isaiah Ihnen saw 24 minutes, logging six points, four rebounds and two assists.
