Eyeing summer return Fredrick will try to make his return for Kentucky this summer as he works through rehab for his hamstring injury, Adam Haste of SB Nation reports.

Impact Fredrick will not try and make a return during the NCAA tournament this year and will instead focus on returning this summer. The junior guard underwent hamstring surgery after suffering an injury prior to the 2021-2022 season. In 2020 with Iowa, Fredrick started 27 games, averaging 7.5 points, 1.1 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 0.4 steals on 24.7 minutes per game. Fredrick will look to return to action over the summer for the Wildcats.
