Impact Mahaney may have not been the greatest fit at UConn, as he lost the starting point guard spot to Hassan Diarra just five games into the season and has largely been a non-factor offensively since. However, that at least took a turn for the better when he posted a season-high 15 points Sunday, sparking the offense off the bench. That said, the season best came without a single rebound, assist, steal or block, so it wasn't that big of a boost for fantasy managers who might have rolled the dice. Nonetheless, a sign of life from Mahaney is certainly a good thing as Big East play heats up.

Impact Ball continues to show drastic growth from his freshman to sophomore seasons with the Huskies, and now that he's a full-time starter, his scoring has skyrocketed to 13.4 ppg. It's not just the added volume, however, as he's putting up those numbers on an efficient 46.5 percent shooting (44.9 percent from distance). There's also a consistency factor that's been stellar for fantasy managers, as in 15 starts, he's only failed to reach double figures twice.

Impact It may have been one of Karaban's lower offensive outputs of the season, but he was also selective with his shots and contributed on the defensive end with four rejections. Since missing time due to a head injury in early-December, Karaban is averaging 16.8 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists across six contests. He remains one of UConn's top fantasy assets.

Impact In a game that was projected to be a blowout, the Huskies shot themselves in the foot especially by being down 12 points at half. Luckily for the squad, Diarra started to heat up in the second half, finishing out the close win with a season-high 19 points. The starting point guard hasn't been the biggest contributor in terms of points scored so far this season, but his ability to move the ball around and help others score, on top of himself, has proven to be a valuable asset for UConn.

Impact McNeeley sustained the injury in the second half of Wednesday's 81-68 win over DePaul and was spotted wearing a walking boot on the bench. He logged nine points (3-7 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block across 25 minutes before exiting. Hurley expressed optimism McNeeley wouldn't be out for an extended period but it appears the Huskies will be without the star freshman against the Friars.
