Earns newcomer honors Jenkins was named the Preseason Mountain West Newcomer of the Year on Wednesday.
Impact Jenkins sat out last season after transferring from South Dakota State where he averaged a whopping 19.7 points and 3.5 three-pointers per contest during the 2018-19 campaign. Jenkins profiles to be one of the top deep weapons in the Mountain West Conference this season. He will hope to help UNLV reach their first NCAA Tournament since 2013.
