Kon Knueppel - Drains five triples in exhibition Knueppel put up 17 points (6-11 FG, 5-9 3Pt), five rebounds and three assists in Saturday's exhibition win over Lincoln (PA).

Impact Knueppel was apart of this wicked Duke recruiting class and he did exactly what he was brought there to do in the first exhibition game, hit outside shots. The Wisconsin native started and played a team-high 25 minutes in the contest. He clearly has already found the trust of coach Jon Scheyer and makes for a great fit alongside Cooper Flagg. Knueppel should have a strong case to start when the regular season begins Nov. 4 against Maine.

Cooper Flagg - 22 points in exhibition game Flagg had a team-high 22 points (8-16 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 4-7 FT), six assists, four blocks and two rebounds in Saturday's exhibition game win over Lincoln (PA).

Impact Flagg did not disappoint in his first exhibition game with Duke. The expected No. 1 overall pick in 2025 showed his ability to score at all levels as well as affect the game on the defensive side with four blocks. Flagg had the offense run through him and was able to find open teammates with his team-high six assists. He will look to have another good showing on Oct. 27 against Arizona State in the final exhibition game before the regular season begins Nov. 4 against Maine. For coach Jon Scheyer it's all about finding the right pieces to fit around Flagg.

Impact Sheffield participating in Duke's exhibition Saturday is the best that can be said about his latest performance. He logged only one counting stat, a three-pointer, which was missed. Currently, it is not 100 percent clear whether Sheffield was eased into action or suffering from being part of a stacked Duke rotation. Even though Sheffield averaged 7.6 points and 6.1 rebounds for Rice's 2022-23 team, the Blue Devils have proven and promising players that do not make him a necessary option.
