Hot shooting performance in win George amassed 18 points (6-15 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 3-3 FT), six rebounds, two assists and two steals in 25 minutes during Friday's 64-63 victory over Gonzaga. Impact George logged a game high in points during this relatively low-scoring battle between two of the nation's top-ranked teams. Coming off the team's worst loss of the season against Marquette, the freshman also shot just above his average from beyond the arc to help establish an early lead, and he also grabbed the team's second-most boards behind forward Flo Thamba (eight). George has struggled with his shooting efficiency over the first eight games of his collegiate career, but he still sits third on the team in points per game (14.9) behind senior Adam Flagler (16.1) and junior L.J. Cryer (16.5).
