Leads scoring in season debut Shaver collected 14 points (5-12 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), two rebounds and two steals over 33 minutes during Saturday's 58-50 loss to UC Irvine. Impact Shaver missed the season opener while working his way back from a hand injury, but was cleared for Saturday's matchup despite being considered a game-time decision. He ended up leading all Broncos players in what ultimately turned out to be a low-scoring affair. The fifth-year shooting guard also tied for the team high in field goals attempted, though it was a relatively even distribution among the starters. Look for him to again play a significant role in a tough non-conference matchup against St. Bonaventure scheduled for Thursday.
