UNC game postponed The Jan. 2 matchup between Syracuse and North Carolina has been postponed due to COVID-19 concerns, Brendan Marks of The Athletic reports.
Impact This will be the third straight game that Syracuse will have postponed due to a positive COVID-19 test in the program. Their next scheduled game is Jan. 6 against Florida State.

Wake Forest game off too The Dec. 30 matchup between Syracuse and Wake Forest has been postponed due to COVID-19 concerns, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
Impact Both team's are currently dealing with their own COVID-19 concerns, so they will play it safe and choose to reschedule the game down the road. That leaves Dolezaj and the Orange's next scheduled game being North Carolina on Jan. 2.

Notre Dame game called off The ACC announced Monday that Tuesday's game between Notre Dame and Syracuse would be postponed.
Impact The postponement comes after the Orange's opponent on Saturday, Buffalo, paused team activities due to a positive COVID-19 test. There is not word on when the game against the Irish would be rescheduled. Syracuse should have time to properly assess their situation before their next scheduled game on Dec. 30 against Wake Forest.

Impact Dolezaj is active and starting Saturday's contest, but he's wearing a wrap against Boston College. He apparently sustained the injury during Tuesday's game against Rutgers, and it remains to be seen whether he'll face any limitations Saturday.

Scores 14 points in defeat Dolezaj registered 14 points (6-11 FG, 2-3 FT), four rebounds, two steals and an assist in 37 minutes during Tuesday's 79-69 loss against Rutgers.
Impact Dolezaj has had up-and-down performances to date, but he has managed to surpass the 10-point plateau in two of his first four games of the campaign. He has played over 30 minutes in three of those contests, and he should remain productive as long as he keeps seeing heavy minutes as a starter. He is currently averaging 11.3 points per game while shooting 51.6 percent from the field.

Impact Dolezaj came just three points away from tying Buddy Boeheim for the team's lead in points, but he paced Syracuse in assists and steals while grabbing the second-most rebounds. It was a strong opener for the senior, who already averaged 10.4 points with 6.4 boards per game last season. His next chance to play will come Dec. 5 at home against Rider.
