Matthew Cleveland - Excellent against Louisville Cleveland logged 22 points (9-18 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-3 FT), 12 rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal across 34 minutes during Wednesday's 80-71 loss to Louisville.

Impact Cleveland carried the Hurricanes on offense and made his presence felt on the glass as well, which resulted in his second double-double across his last four outings. He's been a massive scoring weapon for Miami, averaging 18.4 points per game and shooting 47.5 percent from the field over his last five outings.

Norchad Omier - Available Wednesday Omier (ankle) will suit up for Wednesday's matchup with Louisville, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.

Impact Omier sustained a minor ankle injury at practice this week, but he will be active as the Hurricanes face off against the Cardinals. The 6-foot-7 junior has started in all 14 games this season, averaging 18.1 points, 9.9 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.6 steals on 28.1 minutes per game. The nightly double-double threat will look to get it done against a struggling Louisville program.

Wooga Poplar - Set to return Wednesday Poplar (ankle) will return to action Wednesday against Louisville, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.

Impact Poplar hasn't seen action since Dec. 29 against North Florida, when he was presumably limited to 15 minutes because of the ankle issue. After missing two games, he will rejoin the mix, though it remains to be seen if he'll immediately retake his spot in the starting unit after a couple of weeks off. Still, that seems to be the most likely scenario for the junior, who enters the night averaging 16.2 points, 5.2 boards, and 2.2 assists per game while posting career-best marks of 52.3 percent from the field and 50.0 percent from beyond the arc.

Impact Pack has been dealing with an ankle injury but will give it a go for this ACC matchup. Good news for Miami is that Wooga Poplar will also make his return to action and should help Pack in the backcourt going forward.

Matthew Cleveland - Impressive vs Clemson Cleveland ended Wednesday's 95-82 win over Clemson with 23 points (9-14 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, four assists and one steal over 38 minutes.

Impact Cleveland consistently scored in double digits for the Hurricanes, doing it in all but one of his outings, but this was just the second time he reaches the 20-point mark. Given Miami have a well-balanced attack, they don't depend on Cleveland to make a significant impact in most games. That said, he has proven he can get the job done every time he's called upon duty.

Impact Cleveland's rebounding numbers have predictably dipped a bit now that he's sharing a frontcourt with Norchad Omier, but his scoring has been on point, as he's on pace for a career-best 15.5 ppg. The efficiency has also been trending upward, as he's improved his shooting percentage eight points to 56.5, and his three-point percentage an incredible 12 points to 47.1. This trajectory certainly hasn't disappointed fantasy managers and can only be positive for his status in the eyes of NBA scouts.

Impact Pack's availability had been in question for this contest after he missed back-to-back games with a lower-body injury. He ended up getting the necessary clearance for the ACC opener, and the end result was his second-best scoring effort of the season. He's now fourth on the team in scoring at 13.7 ppg while leading the squad in assists at 4.1 apg.

Impact Omier was impressive Friday, missing just one shot from the field and posting his sixth double-double of the campaign. Omier has been a steady contributor for the Hurricanes on both ends of the court, evidenced by his averages of 17.6 points and 9.9 rebounds per game in 2023-24.
