First start pays off big Ware had 30 points (9-15 FG, 7-10 3Pt, 5-5 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists and two steals across 33 minutes in Sunday's 89-85 loss to Norfolk State. Impact Ware has contributed in a reserve capacity in his first seven games with the program after transferring in from Jacksonville State, but Sunday was his first start, and the junior didn't disappoint. He does have performances of 24 and 18 points off the bench this season, so while the production can be a little hit-or-miss, there's definitely a fantasy ceiling here. Ware was a double-digit scorer last year with the Gamecocks and appears well on his way to achieving that feat once again. This was enough to get him on the radar in leagues that use the MEAC conference.
