Impact Dante was unavailable for the start of the season while returning from ACL surgery in December 2020, but he only ended up missing the first two games of the campaign. He averaged 8.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1.2 blocks in 17.7 minutes as a starter for the Ducks last year before going down with the injury.

Impact Dante is slowly working his way back from ACL surgery. The team wants to be very careful with the former five-star center. With the expected timeline, Dante should miss the first handful of games of the season. His progress will be updated over the coming weeks.

Impact Dante was poised to have a bigger year after becoming a starter for the Ducks as he was averaging career highs in minutes (17.7), points (8.2) and rebounds (5.8) per game. The 6-11 sophomore was also shooting an efficient 66 percent from the field. His season will unfortunately come to an end as L.J. Figueroa is presumed to take his place in the starting lineup moving forward.

Impact Dante was able to post his first career double-double despite playing the fewest minutes of any of Oregon's starters. The sophomore post player has hit an efficient 66 percent of his shots through five games. He's also done a good job forcing turnovers - averaging 1.8 steals and 1.2 blocks per game.

Impact Dante's knees have caused him issues in camp, but the staff feels comfortable with his progress. It's something they will likely monitor regularly throughout the season, however.

It does not sound as if these knee issues are something would endanger Dante's playing status when the season begins, but more be something to keep an eye on as the season progresses for wear on tear.
