Impact Perkins was injured in Tuesday's exhibition and Wednesday's evaluation didn't provide good news, as the star forward suffered a torn ACL and will miss the entire season. This is a huge blow for Saint Louis, as Perkins is widely considered to be one of the best players in the Atlantic 10. He averaged 17.1 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game during the 2020-21 campaign.

The senior forward is the team's top returning scorer after averaging 17.1 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 30.5 minutes per game last year and would present a major loss for the program if he's forced to miss extended time.

Impact Williams wasn't eligible for the same one-time transfer rules as many others because he transferred to Oakland from Cleveland State early in his career.
