Miles Byrd - Seven points, four rebounds Byrd (toe) logged seven points (2-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and one block across his 15 minutes during San Diego State's 72-61 win Saturday against UNLV.
Impact Byrd's statistical output has improved in recent games. Saturday marked the third time he logged more than six points and three rebounds across his last five games. During the five-game span, Byrd averaged 6.0 points and 3.6 rebounds, a significant improvement from him.

Reese Waters - Used as substitute Waters (ankle) logged four points (2-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt), three rebounds and two assists across his 22 minutes during San Diego State's 72-61 win Saturday against UNLV.
Impact It marked only the second time San Diego State's team used Waters as a substitute. Like the first time, he did not play relatively well, scoring only four points on two field goals with more than five attempts. Ideally for Waters, he returns to San Diego State's starting lineup, in which the junior has thrived with averages of 14.0 points and 3.9 rebounds.

Impact According to Mark Zeigler of the San Diego Union-Tribune, Dixon-Waters rolled one of his ankles while warming up for the Aztecs' game Wednesday against Fresno State. He logged 10 minutes before bailing out of their matchup early. So now, Waters' availability will be a game-time decision prior to them playing again but against UNLV.
