Snaps out of funk Shannon had a team-high 18 points (6-16 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 5-8 FT) to go along with three rebounds, an assist and a a steal across 38 minutes in Monday's 74-69 loss to Oklahoma State. Impact It wasn't Shannon's best performance of the season by any means, but it at least breaks him out of a three-game stretch in which he averaged 6.7 points across only 16.3 minutes. Shannon has been coming off the bench since Jan. 5, but up until recently, he had largely seen starter's minutes. Considering the sophomore is a projected first-round pick in the NBA Draft, it seems unlikely a sudden decline in minutes would be performance-related. Whatever the reason, he remains a risky fantasy play in the short-term.
