Impact Shannon appears locked into the starting lineup now after being moved in and out why he was nursing a back injury. He has now started eight of the last nine and is averaging 8.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.3 three-pointers over that stretch. Shannon is a far better player than that and Texas Tech will need him to show it if they want to make a deep run in the NCAA Tournament.

Back in starting five Shannon will start Saturday's regulars-season finale versus Oklahoma State.
Impact Shannon moved out of the starting unit for Senior Day to make room for Marcus Santos-Silva but will retake his usual spot Saturday in the final game before Big 12 tournament play first up next week. He should see a minutes bump with his return to the starting unit.

Impact Shannon came off the bench in this one after starting the previous four games. He has dealt with a back injury for most of this season, but his minutes have fluctuated too much for him to show all of his talent. Shannon was huge down the stretch last season for Texas Tech and they will hope he can flip the switch and do the same this season.

It was also the first time that Shannon accomplished the feat since Jan. 22 against West Virginia.
