Impact Shannon appears locked into the starting lineup now after being moved in and out why he was nursing a back injury. He has now started eight of the last nine and is averaging 8.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.3 three-pointers over that stretch. Shannon is a far better player than that and Texas Tech will need him to show it if they want to make a deep run in the NCAA Tournament.

Impact Williams had yet another strong outing against Kansas, but it wasn't quite enough this time to bring home the win in the Big 12 Tournament Final. Williams did bounce back from two straight single-digit scoring games to start the Big 12 Tournament after a seven-game stretch in which he was averaging 16.6 PPG. Williams will be one of the most important players for a Texas Tech team hopeful to make it back to the Final Four.

Kevin McCullar - Returns to starting lineup Saturday McCullar totaled eight points (3-10 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, five assists and one steal in 33 minutes during Saturday's 74-65 loss to Kansas.

Impact McCullar was expected to operate off the bench for a third straight contest following a two-game absence due to an ankle injury, but he was a late addition to the starting lineup Saturday, as Davion Warren shifted to the bench. The 6-foot-6 junior struggled shooting the ball in his first start since Feb. 12, but he did dish out five-plus assists for just sixth time this season. McCullar figures to be back in the starting lineup when Texas Tech returns to action during the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
