ImpactFland scored in double figures for the third time in three games, but the freshman has had some trouble doing it efficiently. He's shooting under 40 percent from the floor, an area that will need to improve if the Razorbacks want to be contenders in a loaded SEC. Nonetheless, Fland will continue to be a major offensive factor for Arkansas.

The big man has also shot the ball with excellent efficiency to open the season, hitting 61.1 percent of his shots from the field. With his paint presence, Thiero figures to be a double-double threat each night for Arkansas.

ImpactHead coach John Calipari confirmed that Brazile injured his ankle while going for a rebound against the Trojans, noting that the medical staff did not feel comfortable with the junior forward returning to the game. Brazile has had a history with injuries in his time as a Razorback, as he had played just 35 games in his two seasons with the program heading into 2024. The 6-foot-10 forward had averaged five points and 5.5 rebounds per game through two contests this season prior to his injury. His status is thus far unknown, putting his availability for Monday's matchup against Pacific into question.
