Marco Anthony - Game-time decision Anthony (ankle) will be a game-time decision ahead of Saturday's game against BYU, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.

Impact Anthony rolled his ankle Sunday against Tulsa. While he's had nearly a week to rest and heal, it's still not clear whether or not he's ready to go. He's played 25.8 minutes per game through five contests this season but has attempted just 6.4 shots, so there won't be a ton of extra opportunities freed up if he's unable to play.

Bostyn Holt - Officially ruled out for season Holt (knee) has been ruled out for the rest of the season, John Coon of AP Sports reports.

Impact Holt suffered a torn ACL in a practice last week. He was averaging 3.0 points and 2.3 rebounds in 6.8 minutes per contest. Holt's loss will limit the Utes going forward this season in the frontcourt.

Impact The possible injury explains why Anthony was limited to just 18 minutes in the contest, which tied for his lowest total of the season. Anthony has so far been a solid contributor for the Utes, his third collegiate school. He provides excellent rebounding from the small forward spot, so far posting 8.6 rpg through five games. It's unclear at this time what his availability might look like for Saturday's in-state matchup against BYU.

Impact Madsen was able to travel with the Utes during their road trip to Daytona, but he didn't suit up as he continues to deal with a non-COVID illness. His next chance to return will be Saturday against BYU, but it's not yet clear whether he'll be able to take the court.

Branden Carlson - Another game in double figures Carlson ended with 13 points (5-12 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, two assists and three blocks over 27 minutes during Saturday's 68-61 victory over Boston College.

Impact Carlson posted his fourth straight game in double figures to start the season and is now averaging 15.5 points thus far, albeit against subpar competition. The 7-foot center was surprisingly quiet on the glass with only three boards despite Boston College shooting just 42 percent from the floor. As one of just two returning starters for Utah, Carlson has seen an increased role in the offense, accounting for a 27.1 percent usage rate this season.

David Jenkins - Scores 13 in win Jenkins logged 13 points (4-8 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT) and one rebound in 28 minutes during Saturday's 68-61 win over Boston College.

Impact Jenkins and center Branden Carlson led the way with 13 points for the Utes, with Jenkins doing it more efficiently on only eight shot attempts. The transfer from UNLV has always been an excellent three point shooter, connecting on 41 percent of his attempts for his career and has already made 13 through four games this season. Utah will take on Tulsa on Sunday in the semifinals of the Sunshine Slam.

Impact Despite traveling with the team, Madsen was expected to sit out the game following a recent non-COVID illness. The fact that he traveled with the team is a good sign Madsen has the worst of his illness in the rearview and next Saturday versus BYU seems like a logical date for the sophomore to potentially rejoin the action. That being said, Madsen is also not guaranteed to see run every game, so it's possible he won't play simply because he's not part of the rotation.

Impact Gach had been awaiting NCAA clearance after transferring for a second time, and it appears that arrived just in time for Saturday's showdown. He had a big role with the Utes to start his career but saw his playing time decrease while with Minnesota. It now looks like he's poised to increase his production while back with his original team. Gach saw more minutes than any other Utah bench player Saturday and was the only reserve to reach double figures.
