Impact Brooks initially declared for the 2022 NBA Draft while also entering the transfer portal, but after deciding to return to college he has found a new home with the Huskies. The 6-foot-7 forward averaged 10.8 points and 4.4 rebounds per game last season for Kentucky will be an offensive threat for Washington.

Impact Matthews was able to reach double figures for a fourth consecutive game, but it wasn't enough to help Washington advance in the Pac-12 tournament as he shot just 30 percent from the floor. He did play better towards the second half of the season and closed the season with respectable 50/34/76 shooting splits.
