Impact Green missed a game due to illness back on Feb. 15, but was back in action immediately afterwards, starting back-to-back games. He even put up 17 points and six rebounds across 31 minutes in a strong performance against California on Saturday. The senior was surprisingly moved to the bench for Tuesday's matchup, however, and according to Lauren Kirschman of the Tacoma News-Tribune, it was simply a coach's decision. Sophomore guard Marcus Tsohonis drew the start in his stead, putting up a team-high 16 points on 7-of-16 shooting. It's unclear what Green's future with the program will be considering all athletes gets a freebie in terms of eligibility this season, but it's possible coach Mike Hopkins is simply electing to get an underclassman additional experience running the offense while he looks to the future.
