Impact The move to West Virginia hasn't improved the outlook for Yesufu, who remains a depth guard option in his sixth collegiate season. He's currently on pace for three-year lows in minutes played and three-point attempts. There were some bumps to be expected, however, as Yesufu still appears to be getting back in the swing of things after last year was cut short by a hip injury after just six games.

Small's large performance came on the heels of his worst performance of the season against Pitt. He's making a big impact on the defensive end, contributing 3.0 steals per game while Wednesday's performance raises his scoring average to 15.5 through his first four games in Morgantown.

Impact Hansberry finished second on the Mountaineers in scoring, posting 16 points to go along with six boards and a couple of steals. The sophomore has been labeled a breakout candidate by his coach and saw limited time last year at Illinois prior to his transfer to Morgantown. He's started both games this season for WVU, contributing 25 points and 18 rebounds through two games. If Hansberry can continue to perform as a solid compliment to Tucker DeVries and Javon Small, the Mountaineers will have a chance to surprise this season in the Big 12.

Small and fellow transfer Tucker DeVries make for a solid one-two punch and will likely serve as the lynchpins if West Virginia is to make some waves in the Big 12 this season.
