On track for full clearance by fall Boston College head coach Jim Christian said Tuesday that Tabbs (knee) should be fully cleared for all basketball-related activities by the fall, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports report... Impact After a stellar freshman season, Tabbs was expected to handle an even heavier role for the Eagles in 2019-20, but the left knee procedure he required last September wiped out his entire sophomore campaign. He ended up taking a redshirt as a result and will head into the 2020-21 season with three years of eligibility remaining. Assuming Tabbs is able to regain his pre-surgery explosiveness, he should lock down a starting role in the backcourt alongside rising sophomore Jay Heath.
